DJ Greg James talks to 5O live on Radio 1
Last week, 5O's Form assembly celebrated the 50th anniversary of BBC Radio 1. The boys in Mr Orgill’s Form explored the fun games that the Radio 1 DJs play, such as "What's my age again?" with Greg James.
Mr Orgill posted a Tweet about the assembly, including the tag @gregjames, and was delighted when the Radio One DJ tracked him down. Mr Orgill and the 5O boys were invited on air on Tuesday. Greg interviewed Nathan vB aka ‘mini Chris Smith with the News’ and Zach W aka ‘mini Greg James’ about the game ‘What’s my age again?’ and then asked Nathan and Zach to present the news bulletin.
Greg James seemed very impressed by the boys, and called Moulsford a ‘Magical School’ and ‘a Radio One Academy’. The moral of the assembly was that ‘there is no such thing as a silly idea’ and Greg agreed that we should ‘spread the joy through silliness’.
