Headmaster's Quiz
Last Friday saw the annual Headmaster’s Quiz organised by the Moulsford Parents Association. 170 parents and staff attended and every round was very hotly contested with the scores being particularly close! The question rounds were very varied and the Year 8 boys supervised by Mr Hamilton-Smith helped with the marking. The final observation round, featuring the music video ‘Uptown Funk’ was especially good fun.
As always, the school catering team provided a delicious meal of Thai Green Curry and brownies and the gin bar once more was a roaring success.
And the winners were……….For the first time in quiz history, there were joint winners! Congratulations to the Year 4 team, ‘Under-Resourced’ and the Year 8 table, ‘Quizzie Rascals’.

Moulsford Pride Apple Juice
Following the success in 2017and 2018 of Moulsford Apple Day, on Tuesday 24th September, members of the Moulsford Parents Association eagerly awaited delivery of this year’s apple crop. Parents were asked to drop off their unwanted but usable fruit so the 2019 batch of MPA Apple Juice, Moulsford Pride, could be created.
The MPA received enough apples to produce just over 100 bottles at Pasture Farm in Thame. Moulsford Pride will be available to buy at the Moulsford Christmas Fair on Saturday 7th December. Last year’s juice was incredibly popular so here’s hoping the 2019 bottles will be in high demand again.
