Making Toys
Year 1 were fuelled with energy and enthusiasm as they were welcomed to the DT room on Wednesday.
Mike (our very talented technician) started our session with an introduction to rocking horses. Mike is an exceptional craftsman and repairs and makes traditional rocking horses. The boys were intrigued by his skill and consequently relished the chance to become fine workman, creating and designing their own moving toy. It was a wonderful way to experience first-hand our topic of ‘toys through history’ and we cannot wait to see the boys’ finished work.
