The U13As and U11As enjoyed an excellent day of rugby at Wellington College.
The U13As played some very entertaining, attacking rugby. They managed to win their group: winning three matches and drawing one. Then they lost against Shrewsbury House by 3 tries to 2, and drew with Danes Hill, 3 tries all. During the day they scored 21 tries and conceded 8, with our wingers, Harry B and James C scoring 10 tries 9 tries respectively by playing some ambitious, expansive rugby. There was no overall winner, but we were certainly amongst the top teams, which was great to see.
The U11s also played some excellent rugby. They won the majority of their games, including a very good victory against Shewsbury House. All of the boys gained a huge amount from the day and the experience should really help with the rest of their season.
