Junior Judo team does well.
Our younger Judo boys recently took part in the IAPS National Judo Championship at High Wycombe Judo Centre. A team of 24 took part, none of whom had ever been in a Judo match before, let alone taken part in a National Tournament! They proved to be a very talented new team and I’m sure that many of them will go on to become National Medallists and some may even become National Champions. **
The team far exceeded expectations on their first outing, with Wyatt I and Will C taking Bronze Medals and Barnaby B taking a Silver Medal in weight groups of over 30 boys.
Well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you to all the staff and parents who gave up their day to take the boys to the event.
