Early season cricket mini-tour to Somerset
The Colts and 1st XI had an excellent early season 'mini-tour' to Somerset last weekend. Sadly, Friday's fixtures against Taunton Prep were washed out by rain, but we made the most of some fun, indoor 8-a-side games with mixed teams; thoroughly enjoyable for all involved.
After a fun evening with their Taunton Prep hosts, the boys moved up to All Hallows, near Shepton Mallet, for a morning net session, lunch and then fixtures in the afternoon. Both Moulsford teams came away with victories but, most importantly, all the boys had opportunities to show what they can do. All bodes well for an excellent season ahead.
