Volunteering at a Lunch Club
During half term, Toby W in Year 6 (along with his sister) helped at their local village lunch club. Toby welcomed everyone as they entered the village hall, helped them with coats and seats and then served the food, before joining the guests to enjoy the meal himself. As it was Valentine’s Day, Toby gave each guest a rose as they left. All of the guests commented on how polite he was and enjoyed his company immensely and Toby enjoyed it so much he has asked if he could help again.
Well done Toby, we are all very proud of you.
