The wonder of Space
All of the children in the Pre-Prep enjoyed a truly wondrous visit to space on Thursday morning, courtesy of the Explorer Dome. We had an inspiring tour of our planet, moon, sun, solar system and beyond; finding out how they all move and what we can see. The children discovered the night sky and marvelled at the myths from ancient Greece written into the stars when the Explorer Dome landed in the Pre-Prep Hall.
The Year 2 children then had a show all about the environment, which fitted in perfectly with our term’s value ‘the environment’. The children asked some fantastic questions and seemed truly awe-struck by the experience.
