Tennis Success
Congratulations to brothers Thomas (Year 7) and Ben P (Year 5) for both getting to the finals of the South Devon Junior Mixed Doubles Tennis tournaments over the summer, not once, but twice! Parkinson versus Parkinson was very exciting! Unfortunately for Ben, both times he was beaten by his older brother!
Very well done to Thomas and partner for their two wins, and well done to Ben too, for doing so well despite being the youngest player. Ben is looking forward to the day his older brother moves up into the Seniors section!
Sailing News
Congratulations to Oliver W in Year 7 who successfully completed both Stage 1 and 2 of the RYA Youth sailing scheme. He did this at Burghfield sailing club in Theale and loved it. He then sailed solo in the Scilly Isles in a laser pico and had to navigate some tricky winds and rocky waters! Well done Oliver!
