Jack and the Beantin
Once again the Panto season arrived at Moulsford on the final afternoon of term. The Sports Hall was used to space out the whole school so they could enjoy a quick fire panto called Jack and the Beantin!
Like every Panto, it really was unusual, under rehearsed (due to Covid restrictions), off the cuff and ultimately very entertaining for both the performers and the audience. Amongst the traditional characters we had our first talking Pantomime cow on stage, we had a Giant who was not meant to be that scary, a hen laying golden eggs and ginormous tin of Baked Beans!!
The eight cast members did a sterling job, both through the few rehearsals we had and especially during the performance. Loud, confident, ridiculous and thoroughly good value. I think they all have the potential for a few Panto seasons in the future.
