First-time Boarding
On Friday evening, we had the pleasure of 27 Year 5 boys spending the night, experiencing the Boarding House for the first time. The atmosphere was excellent, with happy faces, plenty of energy and a range of activities enjoyed by all. The boys sampled a fairly normal boarding routine, with a supported prep session, free time settling in dormitories, a fantastic boarders' supper, and a range of activities to choose from, including water polo, climbing and painting. There was even some Euro Football to enjoy as the boys settled before bedtime. A full English breakfast rounded off proceedings on Saturday morning. All in all, it was a really positive experience, for staff and boys alike and we look forward to seeing a number of the trialists in the house on a regular basis in September.
