Bobcats in the Jungle
Bobcats went wild in the rainforest last Friday! We learned all about different animals who live in rainforests around the world and talked about what they eat. Our guide let us into a secret about the blue poison dart frogs, telling us they are only poisonous if they eat lots of poisonous ants. We saw tarantulas, a constrictor snake, monkeys, turtles, fish, and many, many more animals - even the armadillo put in a rare appearance at the last minute. The boys looked at some features of the flora found in a rainforest and were amazed to hear that chocolate and avocados come from rainforests.
