A good start to the Year 3 boys’ cricket careers at Moulsford
Three U8 cricket teams had their first experience of a school cricket match on Tuesday afternoon over at the Oratory Prep School.
Due to recent weather, leading to soft ground, the boys had to play on rather large pitches, but all three in beautiful settings around the Oratory grounds. The matches were in a pairs format so that every boy was able to bat and bowl in equal measure. The results swung Oratory's way but all the boys had an enjoyable afternoon and learned a great deal from being part of a structured match.
Those not involved on Tuesday will be representing the U8s in our next fixture against St John's Beaumont.
