A great start to the new academic year!
The magic of Pre-Prep learning has started to truly unfold this week and we have become immersed in rich learning opportunities. The Bobcats have blown me away with storyboards, the Panthers and Pumas have started to perfect number formation and the Lions and Leopards have been fascinated by fairy tales.
This week saw the first boys from Pre-Prep share their work with the whole school in a Celebration Assembly. Congratulations to Charlie G (Pumas), Jacob A (Panthers) and James T (Leopards) for their outstanding contributions.
Our learning is far from restricted to the classroom and we are all learning to enjoy the playground together. We are developing new relationships and challenging our negotiation skills with new games. The giant Lego blocks are a real favourite each playtime and they offer open ended learning opportunities. Therefore, please ensure that if you enjoy using them outside of the school day that they are left on the green surface and not taken onto the climbing frame.
Ancora imparo (I'm still learning) seems a fitting sign off for us all! Keep up the great work, Pre-Prep!
