Medal-tastic Junior Boys!

Fifteen Moulsford boys took part in the IAPS Junior Boys Judo Competition on Saturday. The day started well with Sam C and Wyatt I battling their way through very large groups to the semi-finals, only to narrowly miss getting into the final.  They then made short work of their Bronze medal fights and both won Bronze in their categories.  Will C, in one of the largest groups of the day, showed his superiority over all the other contestants to win every match by 10 points (the maximum) and thereby won a very well-deserved Gold medal.  Leo F and Felix B were in the same weight group - again another large group - and ended up meeting each other in the final with Leo throwing Felix for ‘Ippon’ to take the Gold medal.  Both boys produced some stunning Judo.  Kit HN showed real grit and determination in the face of very tough opposition to battle through to the Bronze.

All the boys who took part were amazing, with some narrowly losing out in their Bronze medal fights.
