During the Easter holidays, Sam W, Finn C and Lucas M managed the 218 miles from Oxfordshire to Paris in five days, arriving under the Eiffel tower amid very tight security.
Suffering atrocious weather at times in both the UK and France, they managed to stay cheerful, bubbly and full of energy the whole way. Finn C, who was 11 years old, had his 12th birthday on the day he arrived in Paris.
There were tears and a few pile ups along the way - nearly everyone managed to fall off at least once! Lucas hit a traffic cone and fell off on a major roundabout, Sam and Finn were accosted by a very large dog, the support car frequently went astray and everyone got lost in Versailles!
Huge congratulations to the boys on a really major achievement. They raised an amazing £2170 for the Goedgedacht Trust, which is one of the African charities that the South Africa Rugby Tour is supporting. Many thanks to all those who so generously sponsored them.
