Lions have a First Aid lesson as part of their Florence Nightingale History Project
We have been looking at Florence Nightingale in history, particularly about her life and pioneering work in the Crimean War. Matron very kindly came in to talk to the boys about the importance of cleanliness around injuries and to show them a little bit of First Aid . They thoroughly enjoyed bandaging each other up and making slings. The experience was made all the more realistic with a bottle of fake blood which of course caused huge excitement!
