8W learn about the RAF
8W enjoyed a visit to RAF Benson this week to explore what life is like in the Royal Air Force. Over the course of the morning, the boys visited 33(Puma) Squadron, 28(Chinook) Squadron and also spent some time exploring the various safety equipment the pilots and crew have to be trained in using. Some of the highlights were the night vision goggles and the inflatable raft!
The boys asked some interesting questions over the morning and learnt a huge amount about a career in the RAF. We were very grateful to the staff at RAF Benson for giving up their time over the course of the morning.
