Moulsford welcomes Warden of Radley College
On Thursday the parents of boys in Year 5 attended a Senior Schools Information Evening. The event began with a talk from Mr Beardmore-Gray, who gave an overview of the senior school process. This was followed by a talk from Mrs Squire (Deputy Head-Academic) about the mechanics of pre-testing and how Moulsford prepares boys.
John Moule, the Warden of Radley College, was the final speaker and offered parents his top tips for choosing a school, as well as offering some anecdotes about interviews and the need for boys to be themselves. His advice about being ‘awkward’ on school tours and asking to see things not on the specified route was definitely met with wry smiles!
The evening concluded with an opportunity for parents to ask questions about the whole senior school process.
This information evening is held each year to help parents think about the next step after Moulsford. After this meeting, Year 5 parents are encouraged to book in for an individual chat with Mr Beardmore-Gray to discuss the right options for each boy.
It was an enjoyable evening and we hope that parents found it interesting and useful.
