Year 5 learn about the Senior School process
Tuesday saw the current Year 5s enjoy their experience of the Senior Schools’ Preparation Morning. With a big year ahead of them looming, the Headmaster began the day by speaking to the boys, explaining how applications for senior schools work, stressing the importance of keeping going over the holidays and preparing for the forthcoming interviews. The boys then encountered a carousel of activities designed to prepare them for the challenges that lie ahead: preparing their own CV; practising on Planet BOFA and working through Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning exercises. A Q&A with Mrs Squire topped off their morning, where the boys asked many sensible and interesting questions - well done, boys! Many thanks go to the Headmaster, Mrs Squire, Mr Smart, Mr Sage and Mr Neighbour for their help in preparing and delivering such a useful event.
