Moulsford’s links with local schools
In order to support the community and create links with local Primary Schools we have created a 'Primary Links' programme to enable Moulsford to work with a number of local schools; Checkendon, Cholsey, Fir Tree, St John's and St Nick's from Wallingford, Goring and the Treehouse School in Cholsey.
Before Covid we were offering Science and DT lessons and Madame Howard was helping with French lessons. Despite Covid then limiting some of our activities, we have recently been able to open up our Forest School sessions, with Mr Squire running weekly sessions for St Nick’s and Checkendon.
We have welcomed parents from the primary links community to the E-Safety workshop and have offered up the set from Annie for any schools that might like it.
This term Mr Springer and Mr Orgill have also kindly agreed to work with the non-swimmers from Year 5 and 6 from St John's.
We have lots of ideas in the pipeline for the future and hope to continue to strengthen these relationships next term.
