Welcoming back the whole school
Having had Bobcats, Year 1 and Year 6 back in school since half term, it was extremely exciting to see the return of all the other year groups at various times this week.
Year 2 joined the rest of Pre Prep in being able to come into school full time from Monday morning.
The warm weather also welcomed back Year 8 at lunchtime on Monday and they have been able to enjoy every afternoon in school this week. As well as simply getting the opportunity to catch up with friends, they have continued to follow their Year 8 Post CE Programme. This has involved group discussions following their talk by James Shone on Wellbeing, a drama workshop, a talk from some Old Moles, Yoga, Fitness and dance, as well as taking part in the Year 8 Sports Day on Friday afternoon.
Monday and Tuesday afternoons also saw the return of Years 3 and 5, while Thursday and Friday afternoons allowed Year 4 and Year 7 to come into school also. The boys all brought in their lunch and had the opportunity to catch up and socialise in a relaxed manner whilst also making the most of the school fields to have some fun activities and exercise in the sunshine.
We look forward to seeing them all again after the weekend for Activities Week.
