An afternoon of music, conversation and cake
On Thursday, Year 7 hosted a lovely afternoon for visitors from our local residential homes; The Old Vicarage (Moulsford), Rush Court (Shillingford) and Sotwell Hill House (Brightwell cum Sotwell).
We had a total of 29 ladies and gentlemen who thoroughly enjoyed a musical concert, led by Mr Bissell, lots of cake and chat. We entertained them at the end with videos on the big screen with the boys & myself dancing along (trying to follow the on screen actions) to ‘Mamma Mia’ and ‘Single Ladies’. Once we got into it there were a lot of very happy faces amongst the boys and our visitors!
Thank you to everyone who helped with this afternoon – it is a real team effort and after so many positive comments from everyone, it is certainly well worth doing (but not till next year as I need a rest).
