Three Welsh peaks in four days
Year 7 headed off to Wales during Activities Week and unlike last year, they were treated to glorious sunshine! However, the searing heat made climbing and walking a tough challenge, so the fact that the boys managed to summit 3 mountains in 4 days was a remarkable achievement.
The staff were all so impressed with their resilience as Wales threw many challenges their way! We ended the week with a discussion by the lake near the hostel and the boys came up with a saying from which to live by in Year 8 which was 'however hard it is, take another step'. As they came up with this it was clear to all the staff that the week had been a great success!
