A superb week in the Devon sunshine
What a perfect week for the boys Leavers’ Trip to Georgeham in Devon. We didn’t see a cloud all week! After a long drive down, the boys let off some steam on Croyde beach where the sea was like a mill pond. We were met by the team at St George’s house with a smile and a hearty dinner. The boys settled in quickly and soon got into the swing of getting up early to head out into the sun for the day’s activities. They climbed, coasteered, mountain biked, ringoed and paint balled. We spent spare hours swimming in the sea or playing cricket on the sand.
It was a great way for the boys to unwind and enjoy their final days together as a year group. Their behaviour was exceptional and their company so good, even the staff returned to school feeling like we’d actually been on holiday. It was one of my most memorable trips and I hope the boys will take the memory of it with them into the future. Good luck to them all!
