Boarders’ MasterChef Final

Last week was the finale of our inaugural Boarders' MasterChef competition, and we were lucky to have Mr Beardmore-Gray and Mr Clements volunteer to come and sample the boys' offerings, and to judge a winner. Both groups were given the task of preparing a cottage pie with vegetables, followed by a white chocolate cheesecake. It would be fair to say that the standard on both evenings was incredibly high, and it was lovely to see so much passion and enthusiasm going into the cookery.

It has been fantastic to see the vast majority of the boarders lend their hands to culinary challenges over the last couple of months. The teamwork has been superb, and so too the enjoyment of boys and staff alike. Rumour has it that a Boarders' Bake Off may be the next venture, and we have also started an optional Thursday night baking club this term too.
