So many stories to tell
What a morning of excitement the boys had as they embarked on their journey to The Oxford Story Museum. They went through the wardrobe to Narnia, went walking in the air, and grew and shrunk through tea and cake. The boys were taken round through the whispering woods and learnt the tale of Arthur Pendragon and other Mythological tales, told by the trees. This was followed by the 'KaPow' exhibition, where the boys were able to use their artistic skills to create comic characters, by following the steps of different comic illustrators. Our guide, Karen, then told the tale of Three Billy Goats Gruff, and the boys were then able to tell their own story with a family of different animals, using the 'Rule of Three'.
It was a day enjoyed by all, inspiring us to create spoken fables, adapt old tales and create fictional characters.
