High Performance Lunchtimes continues
'High Performance Lunchtimes' was a little bit different this week as we welcomed 12 year old Hughie Higginson who is currently being treated for leukaemia. Along with his friend Freddie, he has raised an incredible amount for children's charities and specifically the hospital he is being treated in. The boys won a Pride of Britain award for their fundraising and are currently embarking on a 100km football challenge where they are running around the pitch of all 92 league clubs! They have also written a book entitled 'Friends are amazing! be the best friend you can be!'
The boys enjoyed hearing about how positive thinking can turn even the most difficult situation into an easier one and also how effective Gordon Ramsey can be if you are in hospital!
