Meeting parents in London
Moulsford exhibited at the Independent Schools Show in Battersea, London last weekend. The Independent Schools Show helps thousands of families each year to plan the next steps for their children. This was the second time Moulsford has attended with a stand, among roughly 200 other schools. It was an excellent opportunity for Mr Beardmore-Gray and Mr Hamilton-Smith to meet up with colleagues across the sector - both senior and prep – and both said it was a pleasure to see them in person for the first time since the last show in 2019. The event also featured a number of guest speakers talking about topics such as moving out of London, flexi-boarding and what makes a good Head.
There were roughly 5000 visitors over the two days, and we had some useful conversations with prospective families. Our stand was designed to provide a flavour of life at Moulsford with our watercolour map and pictures of our boys taking pride of place. Moulsford was represented by an excellent team who took it in turns to 'man' the stand over the course of the weekend.
