Lots of excellent work produced
Over the Easter holidays the DT department ran two, one-day DT courses for Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6. The boys attending had a great time and managed to complete two whole projects each day. The ping pong guns made for a very entertaining lunch break, with barriers being built for hiding behind and ping pong balls firing everywhere! The solar powered cars (thank goodness the sun was shining) made during the afternoon were also a hit and were raced up and down the school drive before home time. The next day saw a return to ping pong guns, which some of the older boys adapted for a further firing range. The second project for the day was a miniature table football game using clothes pegs as players. Not all were completely finished but boys were able to take the materials they needed to complete these at home over the holidays.
