Events for pupils with ADHD and/or Autism
On Friday 1st March, Aimee Laming and the Learning Support team hosted two events for Prep School pupils who have a formal diagnosis of ADHD and/or Autism. Boys from Years 6 to 8 attended a breakfast and Years 3 to 5 came together for lunch. The aim of each event was for the boys to acknowledge that they are part of a community of pupils, from across the school, with neurodiversity. During the events, the boys celebrated their strengths, which were varied and encompassed all areas of school life. Most importantly, the boys had a lot of fun engaging in a range of team-building activities. It was wonderful to see the boys arrive enthusiastically and engage with each other in such a positive and supportive manner. The events are always such a joy to hold and we look forward to hosting another event in the Summer term.
