Mental Maths at Horris Hill
A team of four Year 8 boys - Monty C, Freddy L, Ollie M and Harry S - went to Horris Hill to take part in the annual Regional Final of the UKMT Team Maths Challenge. There were four rounds spread over the day, the favourite and most memorable being the relay. This tested mathematical and athletic ability as members of each team had to run, but tackling was forbidden, in a bid to try and complete questions not only correctly but in the fastest time. The Moulsford team were not victorious, but they still enjoyed it and were a real credit to the school. The teacher allocated to them for the day said they were a delight.
