Each Peach Pear Plum
The Wildcats and Tigers in Reception have been learning the story ‘Each Peach Pear Plum’ by Janet and Allan Ahlberg. In Literacy, they have made our very own versions of the story by writing some silly rhymes about themselves and then this week they performed an assembly for their parents and the rest of the children in Pre-Prep. As well as learning the whole text, they have worked hard learning nursery rhymes and small acting parts to complement the story. There were some fabulous costumes and the children all performed with confidence. The audience was amazed at how well they had all learnt their lines, songs and actions – it was a very professional production! Well done to everyone involved.
