Pre-Prep learn about space, the environment and forces
The Pre-Prep department were treated to a visit from the Explorer Dome this week. Each year group had their own show tailored for their class topic:
Bobcats learned all about space, looking at planets, stars and moons as well as hearing ancient stories about the constellations.
The Reception and Year 2 shows focussed on the environment and included sights and smells from the rainforest.
Year 1 learned all about forces in their own special show. They got to launch their own rockets in the dome and learned about magnetism. They learned about the forces that act on a balloon when it is released and that forces have an equal and opposite reaction.
It was a fantastic morning and the children all learned a lot as their topics were brought to life.
