Our Wonderful World
On Wednesday, Year 1 celebrated their learning in front of the rest of the Pre-Prep and their parents in an assembly titled ‘Our Wonderful World’. The boys worked hard as a team to put on a show of dance, speech and song: Act 1 saw the boys move rhythmically to the music of Robert Miles’ Children to represent Wonderful Water; in Changing Landscapes, the boys read verses of their poems inspired by Jeannie Baker’s Window; in Act 3 the boys shared what the term’s value of Kindness means to them; and the finale was a fun round of We Went to the Animal Fair in celebration of the topic All Creatures Great and Small.
The boys were clearly proud to have an audience, and they now look forward to sharing their classwork with their parents next week.
