Peter Higgins from Mary’s Meals talks to the boys
This week we welcomed Peter Higgins, from Mary’s Meals. Peter came in to talk to the boys about the new partnership between Moulsford and Mary’s Meals. While we have supported ‘Mary’s Meals’ in the past, we have now decided to enter into a long term collaboration by Sponsoring a Mary’s Meals School in Liberia. Our school Virginia Assembly School is located just outside Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. Through Mary’s Meals, it costs just £13.90 to feed a child for one year. To feed all the 550 children who attend our school costs £7,645 for one year. Moulsford has taken on the responsibility of fundraising specifically for Virginia Assembly School. Together we really can change the lives of these 550 children by making sure they don’t go hungry and have the opportunity to gain an education. For more information, visit www.marysmeals.org.uk.
